to CAPTAIN MIKE'S online Charter Service.
For the past 17 years Captain Mike has fished the waters of Mosquito Lagoon and the Northern Indian River near where he resides in East-Central Florida. Sharing his expertise with other anglers has become a way of life on the water for Captain Mike as he targets Red Fish, Spotted Sea Trout and prize winning Tarpon.
Captain Mike is licensed by the US Coast Guard and runs his Guide service from a 17' 5" Mako 1700 Flats Skiff (model 2002). This enables him to pursue trophy Red Fish and Trout in the extremely shallow waters of Mosquito Lagoon. He is insured and permitted by the Department of Interior as a Fishing Guide in Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and in Canaveral National Seashore.
As an avid fly fisherman Captain Mike carries a pair of fly rods and an assortment of his own hand-tied flies. He knows where the trophy Red Fish are located and how to catch them. Also while on a trip with him all tackle is provided and NO fishing license is required.
